On September 3, 2025, all 9 Party Cells under the Party Committee of Scientific Research and Training held their regular meetings in accordance with Directive No. 50-CT/TW dated July 23, 2025, issued by the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and improve the quality of Party cell activities in the new period, as well as Plan No. 02-KH/DU dated August 14, 2025, of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam).
Attending the meetings were Mr. Phan Anh Minh – Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Petrovietnam, Secretary of the Party Committee of Scientific Research and Training, and Chairman of the Council of the Petroleum University (PVU) – together with members of the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee, and 286 Party members under the Party Committee of Scientific Research and Training.
During the meetings, all 9 Party Cells disseminated, studied, and implemented Directive No. 50-CT/TW (July 23, 2025) of the Party Secretariat; Plan No. 02-KH/DU (August 14, 2025) of the Party Committee of Petrovietnam; Plan No. 01-KH/DU (August 22, 2025) of the Party Committee of Scientific Research and Training; and Official Letters No. 379-CV/DU and No. 380-CV/DU (August 18, 2025) of the Government Party Committee. At the same time, Party members were introduced to and engaged in discussions on the outcomes of the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of Petrovietnam, the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Petrovietnam (September 3, 1975 – September 3, 2025), and the article “Revitalizing Petrovietnam’s Culture for the Sustainable Development of the Nation” by Mr. Trần Quang Dũng – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Petrovietnam.
Mr. Phan Anh Minh emphasized that the Party Committee of Scientific Research and Training will follow the guidance of the higher-level Party Committee to develop scientific, rigorous, quantitative, and specific criteria for evaluating and rating the quality of Party cell activities. Regular assessments will be conducted, with results shared transparently with subordinate Party Committees to ensure accountability and substantive improvement. At the same time, inspection and supervision efforts will be strengthened to ensure discipline and enhance the overall quality of Party cell activities.
Party members under the Party Committee of Scientific Research and Training reached consensus on the significance of Party cell activities and the need for fundamental and comprehensive renewal in both content and format, following a practical, effective, and compliant approach under higher-level guidance. At this meeting, Party members also reflected on the 50-year history of Petrovietnam’s development, reaffirming its vital role and position in ensuring energy security, economic security, food security, national defense, and social welfare. This was also an opportunity for Party members and employees to spread pride in “preserving the legacy” over half a century, with the spirit of “One team, one goal”, contributing to building a strong Petrovietnam with modern governance, high competitiveness, and a pioneering role in energy transition and sustainable green growth.
