VPI, PVCollege, and Viettel Academy Collaborate on Advanced Training Programs
On September 23, 2025, the Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI) and PetroVietnam College (PVCollege) held a working session with Viettel Academy to explore potential collaboration in developing advanced training programs in cutting-edge technologies.
Participants included Mr. Đặng Tài Hân – Deputy Director of Viettel Academy; Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tư – Acting Vice President of VPI; Mr. Ngô Xuân Hưng – Acting Vice Rector of PVCollege; Mr. Nguyễn Minh Quý – Vice President of VPI, along with senior leaders from all three institutions.
Leaders and delegates of VPI, PVCollege, and Viettel Academy took a commemorative photo, reaffirming their commitment to promoting training cooperation in the fields of technology and energy.
Leaders from VPI, PVCollege, and Viettel Academy discussed and evaluated the prospects of joint training programs in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), big data, renewable energy (hydrogen, offshore wind, CCS/CCUS), and safety–environment.
The cooperation will emphasize digitalizing and modernizing training activities, particularly through e-learning, micro-learning, learning management systems (LMS), and digital learning repositories. The parties also agreed to co-organize conferences, workshops, and scientific events on digital transformation, AI, and clean energy technologies, creating a platform for academic exchange and partnership building.
They also considered establishing a training and practice center equipped with digital twin technology and virtual laboratories, enabling learners to combine theoretical study with practical simulations in a digital learning environment.

The Deputy Director of Viettel Academy noted that the academy would also explore cooperation in commercializing and transferring VPI’s research and technological products, while jointly delivering training programs on management, digital transformation, and soft skills for VPI/PVN staff—contributing to enhanced organizational capacity and innovation.
